Thank you so much for your support and belief in the International Healing House, Inc., a Non-Profit Corporation in the United States. The Healing House Philippines, Inc., is a NGO offering psychoanalytic psychotherapy for trauma victims.
In my former professional life I was a Psychoanalyst in Beverly Hills and Brentwood, California. I also held Faculty Positions at several Colleges and University. I presented over 50 professional papers nationally as well as in NEW ZEALAND, CHILE and Puerto Rico. I was the Clinical Director at several Hospitals and elected to the Professional Boards of National and State Boards. When I had significant physical diagnoses that interfered with my continued active work in Psychoanalysis (Virginia and California), I developed a Non-Profit Corporation to offer help internationally to victims.
This has turned into becoming a REPORTER which I feel is the most important work of my life. There are NO REPORTERS IN CONFLICT AREAS in the Philippines. So different than the West where REPORTERS are even reporting in IRAQ when the US is BOMBING, such PRESS presence does not take place in this area. I hope and have been told that this reporting is making a difference. Being on the ground in a War Zone with terrorist activity gives an entirely different impression of what is happening. I am privileged to have such an experience and so far have been well protected by the Marines.
